Elisabeth Fuchs is a speech therapist and audiovisual translator. She coordinates the translation of the MedFilm database, which includes the subtitling of films. She regularly takes on translator trainees from the Institut de Traducteurs, d’Interprètes et de Relations Internationales (ITIRI-University of Strasbourg) and occasionally from other universities too. She teaches a class on medical audiovisual translation at ITIRI each year.

She also works as a freelance translator.
